Alfredo Ramírez, Jr. is a partner in the Law Firm Alfaro, Ferrer & Ramírez and simultaneously serves as a member of Panama's Foreign Relations Council. Mr. Ramírez has additionally served Panama as a member of the Presidential Commission charged with drafting Constitutional amendments to the Panama Canal Organic Law. He also served as advisor to the Presidential Commission which recently drafted new banking laws and as a member of the Presidential Commission responsible for drafting the bill which would establish the Interoceanic Region Authority (ARI).
Ramírez holds a Master's Degree in Business Law from Tulane University in New Orleans, and a five-year undergraduate degree in Law and Political Science from the University of Panama.
He was appointed to the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) Board of Directors in 2003 for a period of 9 years which ends in 2012.
