Bounty Travels Through the Panama CanalThe H.M.S Bounty transited the Panama Canal through the Pedro Miguel and Miraflores Locks yesterday as part of a world wind promotional tour celebrating the ship's historic significance. Crossing Canal waters for the first time since the 1990's, the Bounty left St. Petersburg, FL on April 6, and is scheduled to visit the U.S. West Coast cities of San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles, among others, before arriving in Tahiti for the 220th Anniversary of its original arrival.
